About Immersion Week


    	Most Christians long to dwell deeply in their relationships with God and others, to be salt and light to a frantic and scattered world. But too often we ourselves are overcome by the constant rush of the world's loud expectations, and soon become incapable of dwelling deeply and prioritizing those things that give life rich substance and meaning.

	Immersion Week at LivingStone Monastery is an opportunity to learn how centuries of Christians protected themselves from this very danger through the regular practice of spiritual disciplines. For seven days, through study and practice, we will learn ten classical spiritual disciplines, such as meditation, hospitality, and celebration, that can root our identity and activity in Christ alone.

	We hope the week will provide not only retreat and refreshment, but a practical toolbox of those constitutive Christian practices that have sustained the body of Christ for over 2000 years. Come and immerse yourself in the flow of this sustaining grace!
