Ken Tombley: LivingStone Abbot

Ken Tombley is the lead pastor of Hope Community Church, which oversees and directs LivingStone Monastery. He is married to Kathy Tombley and together they have nine children. Ken has been serving as LivingStone's abbot since January 2007.

Ken received a Bachelor's degree in Religion and a Master's degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Before planting Hope Community Church, Ken served as Pastor to First Christian Church in Uvalde, Texas and First Baptist Church in Temple, OK. Before pastoring, Ken served in youth ministry for 10 years. He was youth pastor at First Baptist in Victoria, Texas; North Side Baptist in Weatherford, Texas; and First Baptist in Stuart, Florida.
Sherry Miles: LivingStone Hospitality Director


Sherry has been with Hope for 10 years. Sherry lived in the Monastery when it was first open but had to move for a year.

She has 4 children and 6 grandchildren. She is  originally from Texas. She loves gardening, sewing, cooking and playing computer games.
She is the deacon of 5 Loaves Food Bank Ministry.

Sherry has commited to three years at LivingStone to oversee the Hospitality ministry, which includes meals, shopping & planning, and parts of reservations.
